Depending on your trading platform, you will be able to buy it again before you can sell any of your original position. I use etrade and generally can't sell for thirty days post split. During that time, those who can generally dump leaving me "lucky" to get 25% of my already giant loss, post split investment back. Miracles happen, and good companies can create value post split, but presplit investors almost always lose. Tough to throw good money after bad post split. If they have done it once, likely to do it again like a paroled con. Stay away.
