Wearable Tech Warning For Traders. This may not be a very popular post and I'm not directing this at anyone or any post on the Weekend Warrior board but I feel a need to be brutally honest about wearable tech.

Look at how Google Glass blew up. Google Glass was suppose to be huge and that turned into a big dud. Think about that. If billions of dollars and years of development by top Google engineers can't produce a popular wearable tech product, that is a big warning flag for investors.

Remember how websites were hyped back in 1998 as a "virtual store" in cyberspace, this alternate reality? Anyone starting up a website could find investors to back their endeavor. It was crazy. Nowadays, people realize that a website is no big deal that even a jobless person can start in their mother's basement and make himself look like a big corporation. It's all BS and when the public found that out and adjusted to the technology, the hype faded away and the market crashed.

New technology and hype go hand in hand. This wearable technology trend is like 80% hype and 20% substance in my opinion.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying something won't emerge in the wearable technology space like GoPro did last year. My point is that we can wait for something to come out, and then ride the trend higher if it catches on. My point is that there's no reason to gamble away your hard earned money on wearable tech right now.

Whatever you do is up to you, that's cool. I just wanted to do like a public service announcement on the warning of the hype surrounding the wearable tech space as it relates to investors and traders.
