Just a thought...

But has Jim ever come out and said that we don't have a manufacturing partner?

“Our mandate was to create a solar cell that would produce substantially more power than the current technology at a low enough cost of production to deliver a considerably lower cost per watt of solar electricity. Now, we intend to partner with a manufacturer who can take us to the last step—final commercialization and manufacturing.”

Notice the language here. "Take us to the last step final commercialization and manufacturing."

"Solar3D has chosen the United States, China, Singapore, and India to nationalize in based on their prominence in the global solar manufacturing ecosystem."

So we are looking for multiple manufacturing partners in a few different countries? After this PR there isn't much talk about the cell. Until the letter to shareholders where the paragraph about the cell is the shortest paragraph in the letter.

"Pursuit of a Manufacturing Partner for the 3-Dimensional Solar Cell.  The Company continues to host discussions with a number of potential manufacturers to support commercialization of the new technology."

Notice the language here. It went from "take" us to commercialization to "support" commercialization. Could we already have one small manufacturing partner doing our pilot run? Maybe the other larger manufacturers are waiting to see how that goes so in the meantime we continue "discussions" with them until we are ready and the cells from our pilot run have been thoroughly tested.
