Does Scott Walker believe in evolution? He's 'going to punt on that one'

Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) is gonna have to punt on this one.
A visit to England is supposed to be an easy way for a potential presidential candidate to establish some foreign relations cred, yet Republican candidates keep screwing it up. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie flopped on his recent trip, and now Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is flailing.

Asked if he believes in evolution, Walker reportedly responded:

"I'm going to punt on that one as well. That's a question a politician shouldn't be involved in one way or another."

That's right, what could a politician possibly have to say about whether our schools teach science or religion masquerading as science? Now, removing public service and improving people's lives beyond the classroom from a university's mission statement—that is something Walker apparently thinks is appropriate for a politician to be involved in, if his own actions are any guide.

But evolution, that's a real stumper. Way to take on the difficult issues a president faces, Scottie.
