Scottrade will kill you on fees for penny stocks. I posted yesterday how on one couple years ago, I was charged over $400 when I sold FMC*.

I told ST I was going to leave unless they gave me a flat rate for pennies as well. They did....so if you have been with them for very long and trade enough, then ask them for flat rate. They want your business.
