jjkirk -- there's just one thing I should put on the table to qualify my response before I dare give you one, is that, I haven't held a precious metals stock since November 2005. Yes, you read that right, November 2005...!!! I've been out since we crested the $500 mark.
-- but since you're asking, if I could sell, today would be the day to do it.
Thing is, I was going to give you a broadly technical response but as I played with the numbers, I found that I could generate whatever I wanted in the charts to whatever opinion I had at the time.
The fact is if you bought broadly traded stocks like Goldcorp, you'd of done fine until this past week where fatigue has set-in. On the other hand, you could of loaded up on DROOY and Golden Star you would of not known we were in a bull market in gold at all.
That said, I'm bearish and have been wrong-- so my response to you or anyone else reading this, if you can't sleep and you find yourself trying to get a gold quote in the middle of the night-- maybe it's time to reduce your exposure.
