Accenture buys federal tech services firm
Accenture (ACN -0.9%) has bought Agilex, a provider of analytics, mobile management, software development, and cloud deployment services (among others) for U.S. federal clients. Terms are undisclosed.
Agilex's clients include the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, and Commerce. The company will be added to Accenture's federal services arm (AFS), whose clients have included (per Accenture) 30 major federal organizations and every cabinet-level department.
