Any power supplier that gets legislation passed to reduce net metering benefits to solar panel owners will set the stage for many power suppliers to follow suit which in turn hurts the solar industry and ROI. As solar becomes more mainstream the first reaction by power companies will be to try and squash it. My beleifs are that it is here to stay and the traditional power companies will need to find ways to embrace it and make it work in their portfolio. Judges should continue to see that they are only attempting to kill a good disruptive renewable technology.
