You know the split is of equal value, right????.. 100 of your shares CAN be worth $100, if the share price is $1 per share...While after a split you might get 1 share for every 100 that you own, BUT the new share price is $100 per share..Yes you have less shares, but same value..JUST AN EXAMPLE
