All for giving Arcam credit for EBM equipment
(and obtaining patents to protect their IP) but it really looks like the bulk of the experimentation and qualification of new metals is being done by universities, publicly funded institutions, and many of their commercial and industrial customers.

Arcam management will have more than enough work to do growing the business. They seem to be firing on all cylinders.

Industrifonden, Arcam's largest shareholder, has a vision statment that says "We want to be an innovative investor that creates lasting value."

Their strategy can be hands on although I've never heard a public statement indicating that they have been with Arcam. Industrifonden has been a force quietly working to help Arcam develop and grow. "We work hard with our companies to create the greatest possible value. This is always done in cooperation with each company's management and other investors. It is also an instance where we benefit greatly from our network, which gives us access to many different types of expertise. Our main contribution is at the board level.
