Would have posted this yesterday but I ran out of posts!

I remember reading in the prospectus that WEST went from being a installer to manufacture/producer (which tanked them) and now they are back to the installation side of solar? Yes?

Essentially, Andalays role in the solar market is installations and their racking system(s) moving forward. I think - what Chan's vision/game plan is. Is honestly nothing to do with panels more to do with supporting the installation of panels via large, established solar companies. Chan (IMO) want's to supply solar companies with his easy/simple patented racking system. Along, with providing a local/regional installation team for solar panels.

If he can position himself correctly and gain exposure to all large solar companies. It is possible that Chan could monopolize the solar game with Andalays racking system. Now, if that were the case. He would in effect have, cornered the market and could in so many ways/words control the price of how much or what % Andalay receives from each company.

This is possible - but it will take time to corner the market in such a way. And, there can be nothing better available in terms of racking...
