JTORENCE
The individual did give his name at the time.I didn't take it seriously at that time. Truthfully, the call caught me by surprise. I had just got into my van about 3:30 and had one work order to finish when I received the call. The guy stated he was a representative of TD Ameritrade. He noticed I was overloaded with CTIX stock and my holding were up substantially. It would be wise to protect some of the profits and put them into some fund that was secure against a market downturn. His BIG QUESTION to me was "would I feel worse if I lost the profits of my recent gains or lose the profits of future gains". I had to laugh when telling him the CTIX show hasn't even started. He then got a informative download on the potential of CTIX from me. He was associated somehow with TD because he knew the exact amount of CTIX shares I held at the time and my portfolio worth. He was polite and his conversation was engaging enough that I had to cut the talk short because of the Government's 5 minute rule on personal phone calls. He did leave a number to contact if I changed my mind. I most likely threw it away because I had no intention what so ever to sell at the time. Like I said earlier "CTIX shot up over a dollar" just a couple of days later and that call stuck in my mind. Thankfully I believe in the CTIX potential and the crew running the show.
I added 2010 more shares after Friday's SA article.
I guess I can expect another call in the near future but you do bring up a good point about asking them about cold calling clients. I will give them a call and relay the answer.
