I'm guessing based on some previous posts - but the food waste is different exchange - so yes more hoops. But the extra time will supposedly be well worth it with potential for much higher CCs. The time will certainly be reduced by the fact that they already have chicken waste approved at this site.

Perhaps the goal was to use chicken contracts to fund food project all along.
