I do not post very often in this room, but I have followed FARE for over a year. I have reached the conclusion that WM has one of several problems.
The first logical explanation for WM not announcing any sales yet may be the manufacturer WM has lined up to make the meters has a "minimum order quantity" before they will accept an order. So maybe they are busy trying to put together that order. But I'm surprised with all the shows WM has attended that they would not have a backlog of inquiries that could quickly be turned into orders.
Another possible roadblock for WM could be lack of credit with the manufacturer. WM may be busy trying to raise the funds to pay for the meters or meet the required "deposit" on said order. That would explain why nothing is being sold because there is no reason to sell something that you cannot deliver.
Whatever the problem, SALES are the lifeblood of any business. If WM had product to deliver I am really surprised all hands on board are not out pounding the pavement selling their product. Receiving some government contract would be great for WM, but that may never come to fruition.
Last but not least, if none of these issues are stopping WM sales and delivery, then that leaves only one explanation, and we all unfortunately know what that is.
