Morning everyone...thought I'd make a quick post before I go out and start planting seeds in my garden. (It's nice and sunny out here in S. California)

I'm sure everyone has heard about all those big companies getting their databases hacked by foreign countries. The latest victim was Anthem Insurance in which 80 million people have had their names, addresses, social security numbers, and health records stolen. Other companies include Target, Home Depot, Sony, and many others. My point is this...these big companies are responsible for securing the information they have in their databases and are now paying millions of dollars to professional online security companies to do it. The largest online security company is Palo Alto Networks (stock symbol: PANW) with a market cap of just over $10 Billion. Although there are many other online security companies, PANW is considered to be the 64,000 pound gorilla because of their unique technology that is very successful at safeguarding online databases.

Which brings me to Applied DNA Sciences...

It's my belief that APDN's disruptive technology is essentially doing the same thing as PANW in securing the products (i.e. databases) that are being shipped on a regular basis. As they continue to make their technology more affordable and easy to use, I envision them as being the next 64,000 pound gorilla in the anti-counterfiet industry. (Now, if we can just get them to have a similar market cap of $10 Billion, we'll all be able to retire on our own little islands. LOL)

Of course, this is just my opinion. Please do your own DD.

Cheers.
