BREAKING: Jury Finds Comcast Infringed Sprint Patents, Awards $28M

Law360, Wilmington (February 06, 2015, 11:54 AM ET) -- A Delaware federal jury found Friday that units of Comcast Corp. infringed on a Sprint Corp. unit's patents dealing with fiber optic data delivery and awarded Sprint the full amount of the nearly $28 million in damages it was seeking.
After deliberating for less than a full day at the federal courthouse in Wilmington, the eight-person jury came back with the decision that Sprint had indeed proved infringement on two patents, the total number at issue in the one-week trial, and awarded the company $27.6 million...
