Click on mailbox and then look at the right tab that says "My removed posts" there will be a generic disposition assigned to why it was removed. You won't get any further explanation but you'll at least see what they thought of it be it "off topic", "crude", etc. and can revise your wording accordingly to dodge the given issue if you want to post it still.

I agree the lack of a clear heads up can be frustrating to figure out at times.
