If a company gets suspended by the sec and ends up on gray market can you still cover? Do you still get charged %interest for the 10 days?

Yes, you can still cover, once the suspension's lifted, though it may take longer if volume is low. The question isn't interest, it's maintenance and the daily fees charged for your borrow. I imagine you'd still have to pay until you'd closed the position.
