You do not know if the shorts have won this battle as we still do not know what amount of shares they are still short. If they are still short to the tune of 3 million plus shares the risk is till very much in play if they have not covered. If they have covered I would bet they have broken even at best when you factor in the costs of borrowing shares and margin, and paying for hit articles,etc. I personally don't believe they have covered as they were very active yesterday with their trading as they definitely tried to keep the share price below $4.00 to discredit the news. At the end of the day ANY's fundamentals are what is most important going forward and they look very strong to me. The other point I would make is that this no longer a CDN play as US investors take on a more prominent role. Your advice to the shorts to establish a long position is interesting although I don't think it would be as easy as you think or make it out to be. IMO
