wow, even the guys on the investor and fan facebook page are having second thoughts. Although its great that they are doing the job Benny's boys should be doing. I think we can see things are falling through the cracks. The new and improved web site isn't up yet, Active Media hasn't sent out Davids books for kickstarter, we are not hearing about issues 5, 6 , or 7 are doing (remember us getting updates on issues 2 and 3 being worked on),and the list can go on.
but anyway, maybe this can help the guys out on facebook since Benny isn't jumping through hoops to get back to you.
As for are the books coming out in April? No, they are not. When a few of us showed concern a few weeks ago, we were just blown off, now since the days are getting shorter your now seeing what we were seeing, no movement. no PR on advertisers - advertisers work on budgets and time frames (example - Watch Dr who on BBC in April or re-runs in summer if the comics come out then), nothing from the authors, no hype, no nothing. A few of us suggested the last 2 go-arounds a few of us suggested Benny print up posters for the comic shops promo-ing the GSL. They would love a poster they can put for free comics. They already have FCBD posters up.....
as for the big promo of 4 to 6 pages from our new best friend the billion dollar company? Well Benny already said hes still working on that and hoping to see them next week. So that's still 6 months out.
Also, as a side note. The TRU deal has to be out of the picture now. I mean what billion $$$$$ company, that works like a machine, wants to deal with a start-up that keeps coming back and says...... November, no December, no April, no - but shortly. And by the way its best for you that we are late cause we now have a new super duper deal with yet another billion $$$$$ company. And we would love coming out in the middle of your dead season. That should hold (excite) you off for another 4 months.
Anyway, I hope i'm wrong and Benny pulls through. And I would suggest Benny starts kicking some ass and not just ours.
