...does the naloxone bind to only the mu receptors in the GI tract helping with the smooth muscle movement needed to aid in the relief of constipation?



Pain management by the agonist Morphine, Oxycodone, etc would be thru the spinal and brain opioid receptors.

Naloxone binding only to the mu receptors in the GI tract enables the body's natural peristaltic action to move the stool in normal elimination function.
