Buffalo- the mindset of the inventor / innovator is often at odds with a business skill set.

So you think McGann will be happy to build out his invention ( say its 65% his and 35% parts from prior IMX iterations) while working under somebody else WHILE he has a $162M IDIQ in his lap, a $2M development grant in his pocket, and world wide interest in his platform today and his follow on platform extensions of tomorrow?

Wow, do you have a twisted view. The hard work is done. The big risks have been taken. The goal line has been crossed and now its onto the playoffs, the very big time, where the prize goes up and the risk goes down. Money is easier to come by. Money costs less. Approvals will be much easier to get when you are helping set the spec. for either desktop or handheld, either swabb or non-contact. All of these are owned by IMSC.

Of course, IMSC "owns" alot of debt. Step back and look at this from a logical point of view;

- I would let the inventor do his thing if I thought his thing was complimentary to my strategic vision.

- I would take a position and stay close to the inventor doing his thing.

- when the time came and the results merited it, THEN and only THEN would I acquire the balance of the inventors company.

Bolduc/McGann/Jones were experienced innovators who came to a parting of their views on next steps. I firmly believe that McGann wants to see his inventions play out on a much grander scale and to be greatly rewarded for that.

But if a buyer put $500,000,001 on the table for the company, I would have to think about it twice.

If a buyer puts $175M for the 100% of the company, I would NOT think about it for a second.

IF an strategic invest in puts 100M for 20-25% of the company, then I would make that deal.

You carp about the pain you took to get here, you carp about the dangers ahead, yet you don't seem to grasp that this company, for the very first time, is on the verge of controlling its destiny. Now they should give that away...DON'T THINK SO, BUBSTER.
