For example, I just found a company that has 120 cases to a pallet rather than the 150 number of the supplier that you found.
But here's the interesting thing with that. You pointed out that you felt the supplier you identified is the likely one producing RIco Suave (in part) because they have 150 cases to a pallet, and 150*4 (pallets) = 600 cases in total. And 600 cases x 24 per case = 14,400.
That 14,400 number must not be all that special, because when I multiply the 120 cases per pallet from the supplier I located, and multiply that by 5 pallets (rather than the 4 figure that you used), I arrive at the same 600 cases that you computed. So once again, for your benefit, I will point out how the math works.
When you have one equation with two unknowns (i.e. X times Y), there are an infinite number of values that allow the eqaution to be solved.
Your assumption of the supplier used (based upon your math solution) sort of reminds me of the scene in 'My Cousin Vinny', where there is a sample taken of the car tire rubber from the ground. An expert then confirms that the rubber sample indeed matches the car driven by the defendents. Upon cross examination by Joe Pesci, it turns out that this particular tire was the most common model/size of the most popular brand of tire. It would seem that the basis for your conclusion is equally strong.
As always, simply my opinion.
I think Ole I-Glow Found the Smoking Gun to Rico Suave.
I just posted that I thought I had found a potential private label company making the Rico energy drink.
Well, look at the following:
From the site:
Order Details:
6 case minimum
•Cost: $43.99 per case up to a pallet
•(1) Pallet is 150 cases. $41.00 per case thereafter. Special pricing after 5 pallets. Please call to discuss.
There are 24 cans per case.
As I stated I always thought the 14,400 cans of Rico Suave was odd - but here is where it comes from:
1 pallet is 150 cases = (150 x 24 = 3600 cans per pallet)
So it seems that GRCU ordered 4 pallets of the energy drink.
4 pallets - (3600 cans x 4 pallets = 14,400 cans of Rico Suave energy drink
