It makes sense they want the convertible notes to finish before they release a PR because they want the share price to start moving.
Also, if you consider the timing of the divvy, the Xmas update on the btcpoolparty website, there was no reason to have the servers sitting around the warehouse while you're still getting the warehouse prepared for the servers. They must've just finished up with the upgrades, now pay for the servers and have them in about a week, then PR, turn servers on and like they say .....
