The "first communication with the U.S. in 27 years" didn't contain anything. Hello! It was the first communication in 27 years. In diplomatic circles -and I'm no diplomate- wouldn't the first communication in 27 years say everything? I mean, wouldn't the fact they sent a communication at all be the strongest possible message with all that implies? Condi, me thinks, is a glass-half-empty kinda guy... er, gal.
