The only people who are excited are the ones who are loaded to the gills with shares and have no choice but to be excited in hopes of sucking new people in... it's basic market psychology...

Anyone who owns zero shares, and therefore can view this rationally, can clearly see an R/S combined with an increase in A/S is like a big black storm cloud coming over the mountain range.
