nice post...but I disagree with this:

there was never adequate funding to keep this network in the air without subscriptions....even if you back peddled on what folks perceived as Frank O's lavish spending....there were enough good programs on the air since August 2005 to make this network worth $7.95/month and it was offered in enough GLBT areas to get a fair amount of subscriptions to bring the revs in necessary to at least supplement the effort. Frank, without buyers NO PRODUCT succeeds. When Bill Gates first came out with Windows we all suffered....crashes, freezes, etc....but folks bought into it and as time went on he had the funding necessary to improve the product to the point where it is smooth today....if the GLBT community had given this network a chance for the piddling amount of money each month the network stood a chance to grow, smooth out and succeed IMO
