I am already dragging my wife through this ordeal, and she is very concerned it will not work out.

I could not go behind her back, or force the scenario more than I have. It would be wrong even if I/we agree that it is just a little longer to wait - to pickup the prize.

I have been paper trading and actually trading stock the entire time, training myself and when this is finally released and I have more cash - I am certain I have a use for it.

There are certain limits one simply does not cross in a marriage, knowing my wife, even if I went behind her back and did as you would - the lies would hound her for many years. She would always assume I'm hiding 'something'.
