Tristan da Cunha - The technology covered by the patents did not work. The Vortex pump was just an airlift pump that did not work as intended and the UK Coal recovery project was lost. The Gasifier did not perform as required at the proposed Salaberry-de-Valleyfield site which is why that project went quiet. I was working in Toronto at the time and the story was that they had no cash to develop the gasifier hence their being sued for non payment by Cascades for the work they did on it. Like other early investors I lost money on this stock and you could say I am biased.
