Divi is not the only reason I am in but I see divi as a nice tangible way to get rewarded while staying committed for the long term. Why not? I expect the same from my other LT holdings, stocks that only appreciate are good as a short or mid term (3-5 years?) hold or a trade but stocks that offer both appreciation and good income are a keeper IMO. Not sure if I will be around to see the MF deliver its final result though. Twenty years is too long a time for me but if Siaf delivers and my health permits I plan to hang on for as long as possible but I do want to be rewarded along the way. When you get old you donot have the time to be patient and live just on paper gains.
