The mini-evac was not failed....it was re-scheduled.

Bottom line: There was an uneven distribution of fuel in the wings. Since the fuselage is very flexible, the FAA thought that the uneven distribution could distort the body of the plane ever so slightly, which might result in a door being out of line a fraction of an inch, but might be just enough to prevent the door from opening properly.

Rather than risk it (and waste Baltia's $ attempting to pop slides), the FAA in their infinite wisdom decided to reschedule.....they too want to leave nothing to chance.

Easy fix......just add some more fuel to the side that is light and balance the load.

And the reason this was rescheduled....hear me out....is because the reality is that rescheduling the mini would only ultimately result in a delay of 2 DAYS.

How? Why?

The FAA is on mandatory training all this coming week (The last week of January). Even if the mini-evac was passed last Thursday, Proving Flights could not begin until the day after they returned.......Tuesday, Feb 3rd.

Now....instead of starting PF on 2/3....if the mini-evac is done and passed on 2/3........then Proving Flights can begin on 2/5.

The difference between starting PF on 2/3 vs 2/5 is ONLY 2 DAYS!

Instead of passing on 1/22 and starting Proving Flights on 2/3, Baltia will pass on 2/3 and start Proving Flights on 2/5....a mere 2 day difference.

Truly just the smallest of hiccups and the tiniest of delays in Baltia's history to date..............

Nothing to panic over, no reason to pull your hair out and dump your shares.

LOL.......stay the course. Nothing has changed. Baltia will still soon become America's Newest Airline!
