I disagree. raising A/S is only potential dilution. if you wanna say 90% of the time tickers with raised A/S start diluting, I'd guess I agree with that.

I consider float most important, as float dictates how easily a ticker can move.

Raising the AS is dilution. Doesn't matter what it's used for.
