wow -- in so many previous posts I prefaced that phrase with "in most cases when there's no provocation". The one time I didn't you jump on it.
Accept the fact that in most cases people who murder other people are either rock stupid (i.e think they wont get caught) or momentarily blinded by rage to the point that they forget what the consequences of their actions will be.
If the death penalty isn't a sufficient deterrent, then any other lessor law wont be either. Please accept this as fact.
