Giving away the Fizz in the Walgreen's deal does many things that will lead to positive results. The best hidden benefit is money saved on a wider ad campaign. They are very very expensive. The CEO has launched successful beverages before. This is not his first circus.
With this "buy 1, get 2 free" deal;
-Walgreens Customers could be financially driven to buying the drink. Hooked.
-Walgreens Customers intending to buy a competitor's product may try Fizz with the deal offer. Hooked.
-Walgreens Customers will buy more quantity, and will likely share extras with family and friends. Hooked.
-Walgreens Customers unaware of product will see the brand's display at the front of the store. Next time, they do buy. Hooked.
Note the key word is "Walgreens customers". Are they offering this deal at the liquor stores and gas stations?
I believe $MINE is using Walgreens to advertise the brand. Time may not tell how successful the campaign was, because any success will solely rely on the quality of the product. And many here have already tested that quality and bought $MINE!
