This concerns me as well. 250k salary and 15 million shares/options for the new CFO, of whom it is hard to find public information on (linkedin profile etc.) and whose resume as stated does not seem very impressive does concern me a bit. If they were confident that the PPS is headed back to dollars anytime soon I doubt they would of agreed upon this many shares. Who knows though, it seems like the new CFO deal was part of a deal with one of the debt holders and maybe the compensation terms were a requirement of the deal as well.
