Here is a thought and maybe the most accurate speculation you will hear today. What if the same non retail MMs that ran the stock up to .97 have shorted it down over the past year and have continued this misinformation campaign (Hotstocked..etc.) over the past year to cover their shares until they can run it up again. Note the continued forcing of the stock down...

Often over the past few months, the same non retail MM on the ask when there is no one even close at times....hmmmm
