I need an econmics lesson, so bear with me and please correct me if I am incorrect in any way..

With a weak dollar: shouldnt exports rise, which would lead to a rise in manufacturing, which would lead to a rise in profits, which would lead to a rise in EPS, which would lead to rise in foreign investment, which would lead to a strengthening in the dollar???

Can't a weak dollar be good for weak economy looking for a rebound??

This is not just directed to jdaasoc, everyone may chime in.
