I'm curious about reviews/comments by certain authors ...Thats my point

(imo) Afterall ,There may be an issue with a "Keith Berman" profile on Amazon

(imo) If "Keith Berman" wrote a bad review on Unistrip, whats to stop him (or an affiliate) writing something like that about One Touch

First, I see this review on the Genstrip page:

" they are NOT accurate "

....Then Keith Berman replies:

" This fellow posted exactly the same thing on the Unistrip site. He is not in our customer supportdata base."

TO CONTINUE , I see this review on a DECN Competitors page:

"Have used OneTouch since 2005. I bought a new vial of OneTouch, and then Genstrip and Unistrip on Amazon. Yesterday I ran my blood four times using each type of strip. The OneTouch and Genstrip were within 5 points of each other, both in the 90s. The Unistrip read consistently high, about 30 points higher. One reading was 130. These tests were done before I had lunch. Today I ran my sample again, this time after a lunch that I am sad to say wasn't very healthy. This time I used 6 strips of each of the three types. It was either do the tests to satisfy my curiosity or take a nap. The Genstrip and the OneTouch were within 4 points of each other in the high 150s. The Unistrip was over 30 points higher with the first reading 232.

I am on on an insulin regimen. I would have taken about 20 units when I got the 232 value. Taking 20 units at 1:15 pm today would have forced my glucose down into the 90s if my reading was 232. But taking the same dose of 20 units would have forced my glucose down to the 50s if my reading was 157, which is where the Genstrip and the OneTouch strips say it is. My jog, which I am going on after I write this, is usually good for 15 points downward. I don't know about others here, but a glucose of 40 is not where I would want to be."
