Called Ameritrade and confirmed they have no restriction on trading ANY online. Also it's marginable from 50-70 percent depending on the pps. Additionally, If u have over 100k in the account, they give u 300 dollars cash for the switch. Anything over 2k, free trades for 60 days. I'm Initiating tonight and faxing over required info tomorrow. I suggest everybody here using scottrade do this as any ONLINE trading platform that won't let you trade a security ONLINE has some sort of hidden agenda. It's even more obvious when they can't give any kind of logical explanation. Especially when you keep in mind the added maintenance requirement scottrade has for ANY when the pps is below 5. Was this an assist on their part to drive the pps below that threshold in an effort to force margin calls??? Sure seems like it given the lack of any justifiable reason for the restriction. Either way......F scottrade.
