Smoke the REAL THING... 
Most of my family ( older folkzzz ) live past 100 with no lung cancer or anything else... and they all smoked the REAL THING...
Even people in me family born in 1800zzz and so... and smoked and drank non stop whole lives etc... live to up and around or over 100 unless they die in car accidents etc... and recent story on da newzzz... is that it is just basically bad luck if ya get cancer.. and not from the lifestyle ya live... heck, even an ex girlfriend of mine that never smoked a day in here life, got lung cancel in her 20'zzz and was told she had 2 yearzzz to live...
