Every project (greater than a million dollars)I have ever worked on has deadlines and milestones. I totally agree about not compromising quality (or safety) to meet a deadline - but sometimes you have to shoot the engineer and get a product (or ore) out the door! If you are a gold/silver producer the best thing you can do is produce and sell gold/silver.

If you are investing in a silver/gold company the best thing you can do is see a return on your investment or at least get flown to vegas and have a damn big apology party thrown for die-hard investors who lost big.
