There are not enough jails, not enough policemen, not enough courts
to enforce a law not supported by the people..
~ Hubert H. Humphrey ~ (1911-1978)
US Vice-President, US Senator (D-MN)
Comments about this quote:
The concept is sufficiently accurate enough on its face BUT, there are a multitude of other persuasions. By way of example: in 1913 a trifecta of evil was perpetrated on the people to make them accept the religion of socialism, complete with its absolute canons of legal positivism ((1) Social Security, (2) Income tax and the (3) Federal Reserve, all being connected). To make the free sovereigns accept debt (notes) in place of money, income tax was implemented to demonstrate a worth to the debt (backed by threat of prison) further, a promise was made to pay for each person's retirement with the new notes. A once land of the free and home of the brave sold their birth right and soul for a mess of pottage.

But the government is subsidized by those that do not obey the arbitrary dictates of government, and they have authorized themselves to seize the assets of those that will not surrender to their 'authority'. This is classic monarchy, but now merely a government bureau that needs to be fed. The prison industry is a multi-billion dollar business. Man, will America ever wake up to the hypocrisy?!

I am now quite sure that 'Tragedy and Hope' was suppressed although
I do not know why or by whom. ~ C.Quigley ~
