From 1977 to 1984 Eddie ran a rib joint in Iowa. RIP. No reviews possible from that earlier era but old dogs never learn new tricks, as we see from when he tried again in Los Gatos for a couple of years. RIP :

This place has a long way to go to compete with other Los Gatos eateries in the immediate area. I would call it a rip-off. The food is mediocre at best. My chicken salad had about 2 oz. of overcooked meat on a wad of mixed greens that looked as though they had been poured out of a Costco bag. All they have to offer you in the way of an oil and vinegar based salad dressing is a low-end italian they purchase in bulk.

My companion's sandwich was skimpy and pretty dry. The BBQ sauce is served in miniscule portions in plastic containers.

I don't know how they think they are justified in charging the prices they do. They serve you skimpy portions on paper plates, with a plastic throw-away beverage cup. it's more like what you would take on an inexpensive picnic.

I certainly will not be back. If this place were in some backwater somewhere, charging about half of what they charge, one might be able to justify its existence.
