I take this to mean that the hand controller can be easily fitted on any upgraded version of SPORT. I believe the hand controller can only be used in SPORT since Titan holds the patent. This plays into the whole idea of having a modular design (which SPORT has) so that hospitals are not cornered into having to buy a whole new system whenever they want to upgrade. A certain single component can be improved on or upgraded and fitted into the original purchased SPORT without having to purchase a whole new robot...unlike that other company. This is one of the biggest complaints of the "customer", I being one of them. It is being addressed from the get go.
