it is a disease for sure. they feel like theyre in control by trading constantly. They get a feeling of accomplishment by executing trades. Most are newbies that still get a thrill from trading, because it's cool to them.
They are a negative influence in the market. I'm sure you remember the fractions we used to trade stocks with until about 5 years ago. I really miss them. Trades being processed at .01 has had a negative effect on the major markets. I want my 5/8, 13/16 and 27/32 back, but like an old tool box accumulating dust, they are now of a bygone era. sniff sniff.
