Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Please allow me to quote from a close friend of mine:

It has been over 14 years since a US passenger carrier has been certified and these are new regs. Jetblue in 2000 was certified on February 3, 2000:

The United States Department of Transport (DOT) issues JetBlue with a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, representing the successful completion of the airline's application processes before both the DOT and the Federal Aviation Administration

BLTA is a biggie. Not only a tremendous investment opportunity but a piece of aviation history as well!"
