Others are developing solar technology...

I can name a number of potential competitors - was thinking of posting a list if there is enough interest. Some are reasonably close to production; others still in research & some years away if they ever see the light of day.


In the context of the solar industry I see competition as a good thing - If the Solar3D Cell can't make it - then someone else gets to push the industry forward.


Not just a matter of 'what the 3D cell can do', also a matter of how much is the cost of production. At the moment we have very little info on this subject.

What we can do is speculate production of our cell is likely possible because we know JN is still in discussions with several manufacturers who speculatively have had enough time to do their own due diligence on our solar cell. We can guess this could be so because JN had hoped to identify a partner by Q4 2014.
