The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Strategic Sourcing and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is holding an Industry Day / Webinar regarding the DHS Explosive Trace Detection Strategic Sourcing Ordering Vehicle (ETD-3).
Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Strategic Sourcing and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will host an Industry Day and simultaneous Webinar regarding the DHS Explosive Trace Detection Strategic Sourcing Ordering Vehicle (ETD-3). The next Explosives Trace Detector (ETD) ordering vehicle is to be a DHS Strategic Sourcing Qualified Products List (QPL) that will allow for DHS components to purchase trace detection technology such as desktop ETDs and narcotics/explosive portable trace detectors. The intent of this industry day is to present the acquisition strategy for the ETD-3 ordering vehicle, answer questions regarding the strategy, and enhance DHS’ insight into industry's capabilities.

In-Person Attendees’ Instructions
Due to space limitations, approval for attendance will be on a first come first serve basis and vendors will be limited to no more than three (3) personnel per company. Additional personnel will be denied access due to TSA’s visitor access policy.
In-person attendees shall RSVP by submitting, via a single point of contact, a list containing a maximum of three (3) personnel per company. The list shall include each attendee’s first and last name, company name, position, E-mail address, and telephone number using the format below.
Once the RSVP is received, instructions on the specific room location and check-in procedures will be provided via email to attendees who have registered.
Webinar Attendees’ Instructions
For those individuals that cannot attend the Industry Day in person, the TSA will simultaneously broadcast the Industry Day via a webinar. There is no limitation to the number of people that can view the Webinar, but registration for each individual is required.

Any information made available at the Industry Day and Webinar (e.g. Presentation, Questions/Answers, etc.) will be posted with the future anticipated Qualified Products List (QPL) announcement.
Participation in this Industry Day / Webinar IS NOT mandatory to respond to the ETD QPL.
Attendees must submit their RSVPs to Ms. Sophia Woodward ([e-mail]) AND Ms. Robyn Peters ([e-mail]) via email no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 12, 2015.
