Taken from the High CBD FB page:

“Our goal here is to support what the Indiana Hemp Industries Association is doing of the development of hemp in Indiana,” Blankenbaker said.

“Eventually our company would like to partner with the growers and processors. We believe Indiana has potential to be a major growing state because the Midwest is ideal for growing hemp, together with the support of Purdue University.”

I am assuming IUPUI - Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis - long name lol

IUPUI LINK

274 million dollars in research money in 2013 for this university. The picture is becoming a little clearer

IUPUI mission

Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), a partnership between Indiana and Purdue universities, is Indiana’s urban research and academic health sciences campus.

IUPUI’s mission is to advance the state of Indiana and the intellectual growth of its citizens to the highest levels nationally and internationally through research and creative activity, teaching and learning, and civic engagement.

By offering a distinctive range of bachelor’s, master’s, professional, and Ph.D. degrees, IUPUI promotes the educational, cultural, and economic development of central Indiana and beyond through innovative collaborations, external partnerships, and a strong commitment to diversity.

I can extrapolate a hypothesis from this, not really news to Longs, but STEV is interested in intellectual property pertaining to the health/beauty sector (the money maker)of the emerging CBD market. Selling their process to cheaply synthesize CBD; And involving themselves in many different aspects of the hemp industry from seed to P.O.Sale (still unclear and waiting for things like the launch of the Realhemp online store). Stev currently has a nice growing business on the Stevia side, as well as on the aquaculture side, creating revenue, thus taking some pressure off of raising money to advance their hemp business.
