In my opinion this will never hold this price. Why would it. The sp for Mcig was way down before this spinoff was even approved. The sum of the two parts can not be bigger than the whole. Why would it be?

We're not dealing with physics here but market forces. Suppose a restaurant sells Pizza pies for $20/ea. If they cut the pie into ten pieces they can sell each piece for $2.50. Same principle. Share price depend on what people think it's worth and supply and demand.

The accounting adjustment was made on the ex-dividend date when MCIG's previous day's closing price was adjusted by $.001/share. That was the actual value adjustment.
